My Story

A family of three standing outdoors in a wooded area during autumn, with trees and fallen leaves in the background, enjoying a sunny day.

Why I Came Home

I spent years living in New York City, but when I became a parent, I wanted my children to grow up with the same opportunities I had here—safety, strong schools, time outdoors, and a community that truly shows up.

Returning to Western North Carolina has been about choosing connection, intention, and a slower—but fuller—way of living. I now help other city families explore whether this place could feel like home for them too.

A Region Growing with Heart

Western North Carolina is living through an exciting chapter. From the resilience shown after Hurricane Helene to Asheville’s growing culinary and arts culture, this region continues to evolve while staying deeply rooted in community.

It’s a rare balance—and one worth protecting.
